Throughout the build process i've been planning where each item will go in the wings, as well as looking up both Garmin and Dynon build manuals to make sure any wiring i am placing in the wings will cover off on both options.
Now that i've finished chapter 18 (Fuel tanks) the next chapter was 19 - Wing Systems Routing.
I began by looking up the wire book and wiring diagrams and placing little stickers on each wing where each piece of equipment will reside. I then started to run some builders string as an analogue for the actual wiring to be installed.
I figured i could use this string to accurately cut each wire to length.
However, having started to have closer look at where each wire will run, i have decided there is still to many unknowns. Mostly it has to do with the pitot mast location ? (that is still undecided).
So i have decided to skip chapter 19 - Systems Routing, as well as skin Chapter 20 - bottom wing skins.
I will crack on and complete the flaps, ailerons and aileron actuation, then revisit the system install and finally the lower wing skins.
