The tank end ribs were completed in the same manner as ribs #2-6, with the exception that a large fillet was used on the inside of the rib, and also on the outside at the bottom where there were gaps between each of the "flange tabs".
In theory, there is no reason the shop heads of the rivets need to be covered in proseal here - the large flange on the inside, along with the sealant on the rib flange around each of the rivet holes should be sufficient. But i figured an extra 20grams per wing wouldn't hurt anyone and makes me sleep better at night...
I was careful when making the fillet on the outside surface to leave enough space for the leading edge skin doublers to nest under the fuel tank skin (where the large screw dimples are located). I measured this distance and masked it off to make sure no stray sealant would affect the fit later on.
