I don’t have a lot of space; to make up the dimpling table as per the DRDT2 instructions would take up a lot of storage space when not being used. For the practice kits, I made up a smal 8” wide sliding table, in the spirit of the original plans. I plan to use this as much as I can. However, for the larger skins I will need more support over a larger area.
The tables are quite large - 570 mm deep by 350 wide, and the same height as the table. Instead of permanently adding legs making these hard to store, I made up some chipboard legs on hinges. A simple cupboard clasp holds the legs together and prevents them folding up when the table is moved. This is so I can fold them flat for storage when not being used. Have to glue some carpet on them tomorrow.
