As always, every chapter begins with part preparation - in this case it was the upper forward fuselage.
As detailed in a previous post, i had completed steps from Page 35-11 to installed the canopy side rails, as i wanted to paint these with the interior of the cockpit. Thankfully, this seems to have worked. I was able to cleco the upper forward fuselage assembly together, then slide it into position with no issues.

These parts were then cleaned, etched and primed as per the usual process.
