I got the pitot tube mast back from Paul, at In-Motion Metal Finishing in Sunshine West. Paul sand blasted the mount before chroming to give it a satin finish - hopefully to better match the Garmin GAP 26 probe. The inside of the tube had a few little areas where it did not chrome well, so i cleaned this up and primed the inside (masked off the section where the probe will slide in). I than final installed it on the wings. I reckon it looks great. As a maintenance item for the future - if it needs to some out, so does the aileron pushrod!
